Dutchman’s Pipe The Dutchmans Pipe, or Calico flower is quite a spectacular flower, comes in a few varieties and  is a real favourite with the bees and other insects. It can be quite invasive if not controlled but creates a nice display in the summer months.

Bougainvillea The beautiful bougainvillea flower  first saw on a trip to Spain many years ago. Everyone seemed to be growing them, and in such a wide variety of colours. I have tried to grow it here in the UK but with little success. This image is of one I saw grown in a greenhouse.
